● In 1976, Legionella pneumophila was discovered for the first time in the world to be difficult to kill under conventional residual chlorine conditions. It reproduces rapidly at suitable temperatures (25℃～45℃), and people have gradually discovered that Legionella mainly comes from cold and hot water systems, cooling towers, fountains, and other drinking water facilities. It is transmitted through water mist. Although high temperatures (greater than 60℃) and high chlorine (greater than 3mg/L free chlorine) can control its reproduction, they cannot kill it completely.
